Matthew McKay: Owner/Executive ChefIn 1991 Pacific Northwest Catering Company was founded by this Pacific Northwest native. Early years as an apprentice at Arnie's Restaurant and Restaurant's Unlimited, Matthew furthered his passion at Marriott International, and the Culinary Institute of America. Matt claimed first place for his Pacific Northwest Clam Chowder at the Taste of Edmonds competing against Ivar's, Arnie's, and Anthony's Restaurants. Matt specializes in weddings and continues to create amazing receptions in amazing places, each one uniquely crafted for each individual client.
After 25 years working as a general manager at Corporate giants Sodexo, Marriott, and ARAMARK, Al joined PNW Catering Company. His experience with corporate entertaining, large event planning, and culinary background as an executive chef and restaurant owner, created a perfect fit for his sales and management operations experience. Recently added school food service management at 2 Seattle area private schools, allows Al and Matt to bring executive style food and service to some very lucky, hard working students.
